Energy flows both in and out.
It is mostly determined by how giving vs taking we are.
Our energy can flow outward from the heart in which we share our love (energy) with others.
Energy flows out unhealthy from projecting our feelings
Energy flows in healthy from allowing ourselves to receive positivity from others
Energy in (unhealthy) from taking from others
If one is too self-focused then energy flows in (receiving) but instead of flowing out as giving energy it oftens is projected out with bluntness usually to meet demands of needs.
Everyone is on a continuum of self-focused to other-focused.
The most extreme examples of self-focused result in manipulators, energy vampires and narcissists.
The most extreme examples of other-focused energy result in people pleasing, inauthenticity and lacking sense of self.
